Reminder: Semester 1 Final Exam Week, December 14-17 (see attached schedules)
Semester 1 Finals week is next week. No matter what phase we are in, we have finals and students need to be prepared to be engaged and taking finals all 4 days for 9-12, and 2 days for 7-8. The finals schedules are attached below. Please plan on being in town and ready to work from December 14-17. We will ensure that finals can be taken both in person and remotely so there will be no excuse for missing. We will not be excusing absences that week, except in exceptional cases.

The most important thing you can do to help our school is to do the health screener every morning and to stay home if needed. You should stay home with any symptoms. Also, if you have been in contact with a confirmed case you must stay home and we would appreciate you staying home even if you have been in contact with someone who has symptoms. This is kind to your teachers and classmates and will allow us to stay open.
Vision and Hearing screenings have begun, starting with the younger students. Notices will be sent to student’s parents if your child has not passed the screening. We have Vouchers available for a free eye exam and glasses for families in need. Please contact Kim Sheen at 719-293-0975 or ksheen@lakecountyschools.net to see if you qualify.
Be sure to read the January 2021 LCHS breakfast menu, lunch menu, and dinner menu attached.
