Cloud City High School Family Newsletter
We are entering the final days of our academic push, and it is important that students continue to keep attendance strong during these last few weeks of school. Every day matters as students finalize coursework, complete requirements, and prepare for end-of-year presentations and celebrations.
Course classes will be finalized on Tuesday, June 2nd. This will be the last day for students to turn in any missing artifacts and CERFFS on their portfolios for academic classes.
All students are required to attend for the full day on Wednesday, June 3rd, and Thursday, June 4th. During these days, graduating students will present their Portfolio Defenses. Parents and guardians who would like to attend their student’s Portfolio Defense should contact their student’s Crew teacher for the scheduled day and time.
All other students are expected to be present to observe, learn from the presenters, and provide feedback. This is an important opportunity for students to become familiar with the Portfolio Defense process and prepare for their own future presentations.
All graduating students must have all fees paid and all graduation requirements signed off by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th, in order to participate in graduation ceremony events.
Next week, I will share a schedule of events for the final two weeks of school for our J-Term activities, including graduate events leading up to the graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 13, at 8:30 a.m.
Please reach out with any questions.

Mental Health Matters This May
May is Mental Health Awareness Month—a great time to check in on your student’s emotional well-being. Stress, anxiety, and end-of-year transitions can impact how students feel and perform. The School-Based Health Centers through Elevated Community Health are here to support students with a safe, supportive space and access to care right on campus.
Looking ahead to summer, select School-Based Health Centers will remain open, so students can continue receiving care even when school is out.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 970-710-5049.
