News From LCHS 4/29/22
Good morning Lake County Panthers,
We are getting to that time of year when our students are able to get outside and enjoy the natural beauty of this wonderful county. Next week our 9th and 10th graders will be exploring various career opportunities with their crews in order to get a jumpstart on selecting their career pathways for next year. May 18th at 7:00, all parents and families are invited to the HS Auditorium to learn about the new graduation requirements. We have field trips planned for some of our students in the next few weeks as well, so that they can experience life and culture outside of the walls of this campus. Behavior at LCHS continues to improve everyday, however, students bringing vapes to school is a constant problem that greatly distracts from the business of learning. Moving forward if a student is in the restroom when the vape detector goes off, they will be going home. Please be a partner with your community and your school in helping to stop this terrible habit from affecting our students’ futures.
Thank you,
Brian Nelson
