Family Update from The Center
Hello Center Families!
We hope everyone in your family is doing well and staying healthy. We heard from the Governor’s office that school will be closed for the rest of the year. We miss not being at school and seeing you everyday. Learning at home is new for all of us so please know it’s ok to give yourself grace to make mistakes. The most important things you can do with your child is read with them and talk to them as much as possible. Remember you can pretend to be a sportscaster as you go through your day!
Teachers are busy delivering new learning activity packets today, Monday, April 27th. There will be four weeks of activities in this packet taking us to the end of the school year. Teachers will continue to reach out to families each week. Please let them know if you have any questions or concerns. It has been wonderful seeing the children and teachers interacting on Zoom classrooms. The Zoom classrooms will continue until the end of the school year.
Children’s Items
Parents may pick up their children’s belongings and portfolios on Monday, May 11th from 8am-4pm and Tuesday, May 12th, from 10am-6pm. The items will be in the cafeteria organized by classroom.
Teacher Appreciation Week – May 4th-8th
Give a shout out to your child’s teacher during a Zoom classroom or have your child draw a picture for their teacher. Let your teacher know how much you appreciate them and all the hard work they do each and every day.
We really miss being together so we hope you have fun doing the activities we created for you!
