Ready for Preschool, How to apply?

Is your child ready for preschool? If your child is going to be 3 or 4 by October 1, 2025, our program is for you! The Center is accepting applications for preschool for the 2025-2026 school year. How do you apply?
- Complete our application. Where can you find them?
- Pick up a paper copy at Lake County Elementary School in the main office
- Visit our website for a printable and fillable option
- Reach out to Rhonda DeVoe, our Family and Community Partnerships Manager to have one emailed to you, rdevoe@lakecountyschools.net.
- Return the application to our program. How do you return applications?
- Drop it off at Lake County Elementary School in the main office
- Email the fillable version to Rhonda DeVoe, our Family and Community Partnerships Manager, rdevoe@lakecountyschools.net.
- Attend a round up night! We can help you with the entire process. When are these held?
- April 15, 2025 4:00-7:00pm
- April 25, 2025 11:00am-1:00pm
- May 6, 2025 4:00-7:00pm
We offer a variety of programming including Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) which offers 15 hours of tuition free preschool for children 4 by October 1. This has its own on-line application process. Families interested in UPK also need to follow the 2 steps above to complete our application process. Unsure about the UPK on-line process? Don’t worry, we can help! Once we have your paper application we can provide support with the UPK and any other program options, including Head Start.
