LCIS FASO 2/5/21
Hello LCIS Families,
Thank you for your flexibility with making the switch from in person learning to remote learning this week. We appreciate that you reached out for help when you needed it and you supported your child to get online and join their classes. We had great attendance during these virtual learning days and are so happy that academics continued. This year has been especially challenging and ever changing and we appreciate your partnership with us in the education of your child.
We’re pleased to announce that almost all students will return to in person instruction this week. Hooray! A handful of our students have been directed to quarantine through the week of February 8 and will return to in person learning on Tuesday, February 16th. Those who are in quarantine will receive an additional communication to confirm this information.
School meals are available – even while we are in remote learning! Our amazing food service staff has been working diligently to meet the needs of all of the children in our community. Please remember that there are food boxes containing breakfast, lunch, and dinner available every Friday at LCHS between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. If you have any questions or need to make arrangements for delivery, please contact Julie Mehle at 719-293-1040.

Student’s in Ms. Page’s class are creating journals about the 10th Mountain Soldiers. They are displyaing many of our “Habits of a Learner” including Craftsmanship and Curiosity. Way to go, 3rd grade!
