Hello CCHS Families and Students,
End of the school year is very busy. Please pay close attention to all that is happening.
Graduates, you must have everything completed and checked off no later than 4:00pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in order to participate in the graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 8:30am. This includes your graduation checklist and that you have completed everything that is required in order to graduate. You have paid all your bills. Once these two things are complete, students may pick up your cap and gown. Graduates may come to school on Thursday, May 25, 2023, between 10:00-noon to decorate their cap with Stephanie. Graduation photo is scheduled at 11:30 that day. Here is the schedule for the Graduates of 2023.
Tuesday, May 23 – Thursday, May 25, 2023, 4:00pm deadline
Graduate checkout! All requirements to graduate must be signed off. Must turn in chromebook and charger, all other materials, and pay all fees.
Friday, June 2, 2023
8:15 – Graduates are to be at LCHS for graduation walk
8:30 – Depart LCHS to LCIS arrive by 8:45
9:00 – Depart LCIS arrive LCES by 9:20
9:45 – Depart LCES and walk Harrison Ave.
10:30 – Be at CCHS for breakfast (scholarships and voter registration award)
3:00 – Graduation practice at LCHS gym (All CCHS graduates participating in graduation must be in attendance)
4:45 – Meet at LCHS East Parking log off of 4th street for Motorcade
5:00 – Motorcade Route/Map
Saturday, June 3, 2023
8:00 – Must arrive at LCHS – Meet in weight room
8:30 – Class of 2023 Graduation Ceremony
Monday, June 5, 2023
10:00 – Turn in graduation gowns to CCHS
11:00 – Paintballing with Full Circle
Just reminder that school is still in session for all students not graduating until Thursday, June 15, 2023. Each day is Workforce Boot Camp and students are expected everyday all day.
Students who are not graduating this school year have Workforce Boot Camp, and the schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, May 23, 2023, Must be in school by 8:30. Please bring permission slips for field trips. Bring sack lunch if you are not getting one from the cafeteria. Wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for outdoor and walking activities. We will head to Buena Vista to take a tour of Fading West and to learn about all the jobs and skills necessary in that industry. From there we will go to Tenderfoot Farms to take a tour and learn about all the jobs and skills necessary for that industry. Arrival back to school will be at the end of the school day.
Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Must be in school by 8:30. Please bring permission slips for field trips. Bring sack lunch if you are not getting one from the cafeteria. Wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for outdoor activities and walking activities. Students will be headed to Hayden Meadows for an Environmental activity. After lunch students and staff will be headed to the landfill for a tour to learn about that industry and the skills necessary. We will return at the end of the school day.
Thursday, May 25, 2023, Must be in school by 8:30. All events for this day will take place on or near school campus.
Tuesday, May 30, 2023, Must be in school by 7:45. Please bring permission slips for field trip. Bring sack lunch if you are not getting one from the cafeteria, your bag for the overnight, and additional money for any purchases during our two-day college tour. We will be visiting Spring Valley CMC, Northwestern Junior College, and then to Grand Junction for the overnight. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, we will tour Western Colorado Community College and then return home.

Graduates Check-Out week of May 22nd-25th – All CCHS students who are graduating on June 3rd must check-out with Leslee in the office the week of May 22nd. Graduation Checklist must be complete and all fees must be paid in order to receive your graduation cap and gown. See Leslee for a copy of your student fees owed. Chromebooks and chargers must be returned.
