LCES Parent Update 2/25/2022
LCES Families,
We had a great week at LCES and a great community meeting on Friday to honor our Scholars of the Month for the habit of Compassion. Congratulations to each of these students for showing compassion to others throughout their day. Next month, we will honor students for showing the habit of Perseverance.
Dr. Seuss Literacy Week!
We will be celebrating literacy week with some fun activities. February 28th-March 3rd we will have dress up days, free book drawings, activities in specials, and I heard that the Cat in the Hat will be joining us one day too! We are excited to share the joy of reading with our students.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Our parent-teacher conference time is drawing near and we are making plans for this event. This year our conferences will be held on Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 3, from 12:00-8:00pm. On these days, students will attend school until 11:00am. We will dismiss at 11:00 am when buses will run their regular route and parents can pick up their children.
Please follow the link below and pick the best date and time for you to meet with your child’s teacher. You will receive a confirmation email – if you do not receive the confirmation email, please check that you have completed all of the steps in setting up your appointment.

It is a time in which we can talk about the social, emotional, and academic growth of your child and our strong partnership sets him or her up for the success they deserve!
If you cannot make one of these conference times, please reach out to your classroom teacher directly to make an alternative appointment.
During Conferences, Don’t miss the Book Fair!
