LCES Family Communication 4/7/23
LCES Families,
Thank you all for a great week. We are looking forward to the warm weather that is forecasted and all the fun things we have planned.
Safety in the pick up lane: When using the pick up lane that wraps around the building, please use caution and low speed. The doors on the north side of the building close for drop off at 8:10am and in the afternoon at 3:35pm. If you arrive after these times, please park in the parking lot and walk to the front office. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school safe.
Music Concert and Open House: Please see the flier below for our music concert and open house night. We will open the doors at 5:45 and students should go to their classrooms. Parents will head to the gym and find a seat. Students will walk to the stage with their classroom crew. Students are encouraged to dress up for the concert, with no headwear that may be a distraction. After the concert, students will walk back to their classroom with their teacher and then parents will be released to their child’s classroom. Use the rest of the time to explore the building and see what your student has been learning. We hope to see you there! Please reach out if you have any questions.

Without a movie theater or bowling alley in town, it can be hard to find something for the whole family to do on a Friday night. First Baptist Church of Leadville has a solution! On the fourth Friday of every month, we will be hosting a family friendly movie night on our giant (and we mean GIANT) screen. Due to our licensing, we are unable to publicly advertise the movie titles, but you can find out which popular movie we are showing each month by emailing church@fbcleadville.com or calling the church at 719-486-1321. Come check it out for our next movie night on Friday, March 24th at 6:00pm. You bring the family and friends, we’ll provide the popcorn!
