News From LCHS 12/01/23
Dear LCHS Community,
It was nice to welcome students back to the building after our Thanksgiving break. We hope everyone had an opportunity to enjoy the time off and are ready to finish the first semester strong. As a reminder, all early final request forms need to be completed and filled out by 4:00 PM on Monday, December 4th. Families will meet with an administrator to discuss their request and then be notified if the request was approved. The request form is available in the front office and available here in English and Spanish.
Throughout our second quarter we have seen our overall attendance decrease with the lowest so far being 79% grades 7-12. We ask that you come alongside as a partner in getting your student to school well rested so we can continue to help them move forward in their educational experience.
As a reminder, teachers have weekly office hours for you to meet and discuss your student. These can be done in-person, virtually, or by phone. Here are the forms you can use to sign-up! English / Spanish.
Thank you to those of you who were able to attend the Vaping Crisis Summit today at the high school. This is only the beginning of the conversation and will have more opportunities to collaborate on this important topic.
