Cloud City High School Family Newsletter

What a Week!

For our non-graduating students, this week was filled with career exploration, service learning, outdoor adventures, and celebrations.

On Monday, students traveled to the Denver Art Museum, where they explored the many talents and forms of expression represented throughout the exhibits.

On Tuesday, students participated in service learning by supporting the LCES K–2nd Grade Field Day. It was a wonderful opportunity to give back to our younger students and strengthen connections across our schools.

Wednesday brought outdoor adventures, with some students hiking Mt. Sherman while others toured the historic Matchless Mine and Heritage Museum, learning more about the rich history of our community.

On Thursday, we celebrated our graduates by decorating, preparing breakfast, and sharing one final meal together before they begin the next exciting chapter of their lives.

While graduation is quickly approaching, there is still school next week for our non-graduating students. Each day will offer new activities and learning opportunities. Students are expected to attend school through the end of the day on Thursday, June 18.

Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 13, at 8:30 a.m. at Lake County High School. We hope to see everyone there as we celebrate the accomplishments, hard work, and bright futures of our graduating students.

Thank you for your continued support, and congratulations to the Class of 2026!

SBHC Sticker Design Contest

Students are invited to help design the next School Based Health Center sticker!

We are looking for creative designs that represent wellness, kindness, support, and our school communities. Winning designs could be turned into official SBHC stickers next school year.

Students may:

• Draw their design on the official contest template

• Turn in a paper copy to their SBHC office

• Or upload a photo of their artwork using the contest QR code

** Some School Based Health Center locations will remain OPEN throughout the summer! Students can continue accessing support, resources, and services even while school is out. Whether your child currently uses SBHC services or is interested in learning more, summer services may still be available in your area.

Contest details, rules, and submission information can be found on the flyer below.

For more information, call 970-710-5049.
