LCES Parent Update 1/28/2022
LCES Families,
Thank you to all our families who were able to attend our January Community meeting today. We are so proud of all our Students of the Month for the habit of craftsmanship. Please join us next month on February 25th at 8:10 to honor our students for the habit of compassion. Be sure to ask your students how they are learning about this habit at school and how they can show it at home as well.
All Kids Heart Challenge Jump Rope donations are due back to Mrs. Ayers No later than Feb. 2nd. Thank you for all your support😊
We are excited to announce the first of our Family Literacy Nights! Please join us on February 2nd for the first night focused on Early Literacy.
Please remember that drop off time in the morning starts at 7:40. Please do not drop students off earlier than this time. Thanks so much for your support with this.
Do you have a day or two each week that you would like to work in our schools? We are hiring substitute teachers. This is a great opportunity to get involved in our school community and make a few extra dollars. Please reach out to Bunny Taylor for more information.
Smart Bellies:
Smart Bellies, a meal program based out of Summit, is ready to go in Lake County! The program offers nutritious food over the weekends, holidays, and extended breaks to families who have opted in.
