News from LCHS
Hi Parents,
We are so excited to have you all in the building next week. We are looking forward to crew conferences. School will look very different this year and we have a lot to go over, so please come ready to listen and learn so we can work together this year to keep everyone safe and to keep school open!
Here are some key things to know about conferences:
- If you have not already scheduled with your 2020-2021 crew teacher please so here: https://www.flashappointments.com/client/lgn/mobile.cfm?busId=13089
- Please look at this guidance from CDPHE and do not attend if you or your student has any of the symptoms listed under “safer at home.” You may contact your crew teacher to have the meeting virtually or to reschedule.
- Please wear a mask to the conference, both you and your student
- Please have the student attend the orientation conference with you. They should bring their chromebook and their phone to set up key apps and programs we are using this year.
- Please do not have other siblings or extra people come. We need to keep the traffic flow in the building to a minimum and want to limit how many people are in the building.
Please note: During the school year in the past we have allowed students to enter school starting at 7am. This year, with the need to health screen students, we cannot have students coming in early. The doors will open at 7:35 and students will be able to be screened and enter starting then. Classes will start at 8, but students will be released down to their classes at 7:45 to ease congestion and to create social distancing.
We really look forward to seeing you all next week!
