News From LCHS 3/30/24
Dear LCHS Community,
We continue to see many of our students involved and doing really great things throughout our building. This week, we are proud to send off 33 students to the state FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) conference! Our students and staff have worked really hard to prepare and we are excited for them.
Over the course of the past two years, we have been working to think about graduation requirements and pathways to graduation. Our intention is to provide high quality educational experiences and flexibility for students to study things they are interested in that align with their chosen career pathway. We will let you know what the trajectory looks like for students as they go through their high school career.
Next Thursday (4/4) from 5:30PM – 6:30PM we will be hosting an informational night around graduation requirements, career pathways, and dual enrollment opportunities with CMC. During this evening there will be a presentation, time for questions, and then opportunity for feedback before graduation requirements are presented to the Board of Education. We hope you can join us.
As a reminder, CMAS will begin the week of April 8th for junior high students and PSAT / SAT the week of April 15th for high school students. These assessments are a great way for students to show what they know, where they are at, and help inform post-secondary opportunities. We ask that all students are well rested and show up to do their best!
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend,
