We need your input! For the past several months, a core work group has been championing a collaborative, community-driven effort to upgrade, standardize, and optimize signage and user enhance engagement with spaces & places across Lake County – including our incredible outdoor assets. The goal is to make signage inviting, intuitive, and inclusive for all community members and visitors, as well as improve navigation and destination finding so people know where to go and how to best get there. There will be a phased implementation to install the new designs – starting this summer with the County recreation sites/amenities that were written into the Get Outdoors Leadville! GOCO grant.
The work group and consultant facilitating the initiative, Kristin Cypher of C+B Designs, are working fast & furious to engage with locals and visitors to gather input that will inform the designs. We are aiming to collect input by early April, as we lead up to signage designs finalization by early June. We hope to get as much and as broad feedback as possible, so please participate and share out widely!
