CCHS News and Announcements 3.20.25
Dear Cloud City Families,
We had a strong week back after the break, and it has been wonderful to see students back and engaged. Today, we hosted a Workforce Boot Camp Day, and we were glad to see the students who were able to attend and participate.
A special thank you goes to the Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation for their generous grant funding, which helped support this valuable career tour.
Looking ahead to next week, please note that on Wednesday, March 26 and Thursday, March 27, students will be dismissed after their first block of classes, 11:05am. We are excited to welcome all parents/guardians to join us for their scheduled conference with their student between 12:00-7:00 on these days. If you have not set up a conference or been contacted by a staff member yet to support you in setting up your appointment, please reach out to the school. We look forward to meaningful conversations about student progress and growth.
The application process for new students who wish to enroll at CCHS for the fall semester 2025-2026 will be open and available beginning on Tuesday, March 25th. The application process will close on April 17, 2025. Please share this with any high school students who may wish to enroll at CCHS.

The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is organizing a potluck dinner for one night of conferences, Wednesday, March 26. We warmly invite all LCSD parents/families and community members to contribute what you can. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference and help us celebrate our dedicated teachers. Food drop off will be at each school between 3-4pm. Please no plug in dishes such as crock pots. Food may come warm and we will keep it warm. If you bring a dish in a container that is not disposable, please plan to pick up this container no later than 7:30pm. We will send more detailed instructions closer to the date for everyone who signs up!
