News From LCHS 10/21/21
Dear LCHS Parents & Guardians,
We are excited to see you next week on Wednesday or Thursday for parent/teacher conferences. Please be sure you’ve used the online system to schedule an appointment with your child’s crew leader.

Please see below for the modified class schedule for conferences.
I also wanted to make you aware of a staffing change that will be in effect starting next week. Our own Scott Carroll is going to transition from being our Music and Theater Teacher to an Interim Assistant Principal Role. I am very excited to have Scott join our administrative team until we hire the new principal. Historically, we have had a 3-person administrative team. However, this year, we’ve been operating with 2 administrators. Scott will be a big help by taking on many responsibilities related to school culture and student support.
It’s also extremely important that we continue with our music and theater programming. Scott will continue directing the HS Choir and our upcoming theatre production, The Wizard of Oz. Celesta Cairns will direct our HS band, JH band, and JH choir. Celesta is the current music teacher at LCIS. Scott’s classes will be in the very capable hands of our new long-term sub and community member, Ashleigh Baker. We are very thankful to these individuals who are supporting our school community in new and big ways!
Lastly, please don’t forget about the District Accountability Committee Meeting today at 6pm at LCES. Dinner is provided, and we would love your input and thoughts on the direction we’re going as a school district. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Much appreciation,
Erin Dillon
Interim Principal
