CCHS News and Announcements
Hi Cloud City Families!
I hope each of you have managed as well as possible during this latest COVID surge. If your student has missed school, please do not worry as we are ready to help them catch up in any way we are able. The main part is to keep coming to school once you are cleared to do so. I would like to start by sharing some celebrations with you all from the first semester. It’s a great time to be a Cloud City Panther! Below there are more updates. Thanks for reading!

ACCESS Testing
We will be starting our annual testing for students who are emerging bilingual this week. The test measures growth in the use of the English language and helps teachers plan how to support students in school. Heather will be contacting all the students who must take the test later this week.
CMC courses
All CMC courses started last week, except for the ESL course. Please be sure you know when you need to go and that you have a ride. Let us know if there are any challenges.
Senior Application Days
Seniors! Please plan to join Ms. Hofer on February 7 to work on applications for financial aid. This is free money in most cases that you can put towards any school or training facility you would like when you graduate. Talk to Heather if you have questions or need a ride up to the school on February 7.
Transcripts and Graduation Checklists
We mailed out progress updates for all students that were with us first semester on January 11. Please call the office if you did not receive yours. We are very excited to see things getting checked off the lists and students making progress toward graduation!
Smart Bellies, a meal program based out of Summit, is ready to go in Lake County. The program offers nutritious food over the weekends, holidays, and extended breaks to families who have opted in. Bagged meals will be delivered to school for families to pick up or students to bring home with them.
