CCHS News and Announcements 4.3.25
We have all made it through another week. As we embrace the spring season, please be reminded that winter weather may still make an appearance. Make sure students are prepared for these unpredictable days and arrive at school on time as scheduled.
We’re gearing up for testing, which will begin on Monday, April 14th for 11th graders with the CMAS exam. On Thursday, May 17th, we will be testing 9th, 10th, and 11th graders for the PSAT and SAT. Please help ensure students get a good night’s rest before these important days and arrive at school on time, by 8:25 AM.
Also, mark your calendars for Thursday, April 10th for our Workforce Boot Camp Day! All students are expected to participate in this exciting event. They have either signed up for a career tour at Climax Mine or a tour in Summit County with salons, spas, barbershops, and tattoo studios. It’s a great opportunity for our students to explore different careers and learn from industry professionals.
If you haven’t had a chance to complete the parent survey that was distributed at parent-teacher conferences, please make sure to fill it out by Monday. See the flyers below.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We are here to support you and your student.
Warm regards,
Principal

From the School Nurse: Colleen Nielsen, RN
Colorado has had its first reported Measles case this week. Measles is more than just a rash. It is a serious respiratory illness that can cause lifelong problems like hearing loss, brain damage, and even death. Measles is preventable with a vaccine. Please reach out to your provider to check on your student’s vaccination status. If measles was to be found in our student population, your student will be excluded if not fully vaccinated. If you have questions, please email me at cnielsen@lakecountyschools.net
