Dear Cloud City High School Families,
We had a fantastic first week of school during our DisOrientation program—even with the early release on Monday. Students took part in a wide variety of engaging activities, including cooking breakfast, team-building exercises, working on their student portfolios, exploring career opportunities with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Copper Mountain, as well as outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, archery, and GOL activities.
Our cell phone policy is off to a great start—thank you for your support in helping make this successful.
A quick reminder: attendance is essential. Every school day counts, and we ask that students attend all scheduled days unless they are too ill. If your child is sick, please contact the school first thing in the morning.
Academic schedules begin on Monday, August 18th. Please ask your students to share their schedule with you. Crew teachers will also be sending schedules directly to parents and guardians.
