Wow—what a fast and furious week!
Even though we only had three days of school, our students and staff made the most of it. It is amazing how much learning and connection can happen in a short amount of time!
Looking Ahead:
We are heading into a full week with plenty of opportunities for students to shine—new projects in classes, upcoming activities, and fresh chances to build strong attendance and academic habits. Let’s make it a great week together!

We encourage all parents and guardians to stay on top of attendance and grades through PowerHub. If you have not set up your account yet, please stop by the school office or give us a call. We are happy to walk you through the process so you can stay informed and support your student’s success. You may also sign up for this on your own. Directions are linked.

This fall, we are launching a community-driven strategic planning process to help guide our priorities and investments in the years ahead. We want to ensure every student is thriving—and that means listening to the ideas, hopes, and experiences of our families, staff, students, and community.

Calendar Survey #1
Lake County School District has put together a committee of staff, parents, and community members to discuss the calendar for the 2026-2027 school year. The goal of this committee is to recommend a calendar that best meets the needs of our students, staff, parents, and community to the LCSD school board. The committee has put together a survey to get input. You can take the survey by following this link: https://forms.gle/LZ8Xe5zFjn8H3ijZ6. We hope to have all responses by September 8, 2025. ** Out and About in the community **
Este evento es completamente gratuito para nuestra comunidad y está diseñado para ser divertido y educativo. Las familias podrán disfrutar de juegos mecánicos, castillos inflables, una carrera de obstáculos, música, artistas de circo y muchísima comida. Además de la diversión, también tendremos un componente educativo centrado en la vivienda, con agencias locales colaboradoras que compartirán recursos e información para ayudar a las familias a afrontar la inseguridad habitacional.
This event is completely free for our community and is designed to be both fun and educational. Families can enjoy mechanical rides, bouncy houses, an obstacle course, music, circus performers, and tons of food. Alongside the fun, we’ll also have an educational component focused on housing, with local partner agencies sharing resources and information to help families navigate housing insecurities.
