Cloud City High School Family Newsletter
What a wonderful first week back from break! Cloud City High School kicked off the semester with our DisOrientation activities, focusing on resetting goals for Semester Two, building relationships, and strengthening our school community. Students participated in team-building activities, bowling, cooking our family dinner, and partnering with GOL for Nordic skiing and outdoor activities.
This week is extremely important for students to attend regularly, be present, and step outside their comfort zones. These experiences help set the tone for the semester and build strong relationships that support student success in the classroom.
A quick reminder about attendance: if you know your child will be absent, please call the office. If you receive an automated call or a call from a staff member, we ask that you follow up with us so we can understand why your child is not in school. Consistent attendance is critical to student success.
We absolutely loved seeing so many families at our family meal on Wednesday evening. The students worked incredibly hard to make the evening special, and we appreciate your support and participation.
Starting Monday, January 12, students will begin their normal scheduled classes for Semester Two. Please take time to ask your child about their schedule, or reach out to your child’s Crew Teacher if you would like a copy so you can help support your student in attending all scheduled classes.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We appreciate your continued partnership and support.
