Cloud City High School Family Newsletter
This week, students began their second-semester academic schedules. Please take a moment to ask your child about their schedule, or feel free to reach out to your child’s Crew teacher if you have questions about when and where your student is scheduled throughout the day.
Students who are concurrently enrolled at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) also began their CMC classes on Monday. As a reminder, the school district does not cover CMC course fees; these are the responsibility of the student and family. If these fees present a hardship, please contact us as soon as possible. There are additional resources available, and students may need to apply for assistance to help cover these costs but should occur ASAP.
If you are receiving automated attendance calls or phone calls from the school office, please be sure to notify us of the reason your student is absent. We have seen an increase in illnesses recently. While we want students present and engaged, we do not want students attending school when they are very sick. Please continue to take necessary precautions, including frequent handwashing and other measures to help prevent the spread of illness. If your child is too sick to attend school and has exceeded 10 absences for the school year, a physician’s note will be required upon their return.
Thank you for your continued communication and support. We look forward to seeing all students back in their regularly scheduled classes on Monday. Stay warm and healthy!
