Policy Council has openings for two Head Start parent representatives

Policy Council is the part of the governance of the Head Start Program and acts as the parents’ voice in making major decisions for the program. Together with the school board and program staff, the Policy Council is part of the shared governance of the Head Start portion of The Center’s preschool program.

Policy Council currently has two openings for parents or guardians of children currently enrolled in the Head Start program to serve as alternates to the council.

An election will be held in November to fill these two open alternate spots.
