This week’s Teacher Feature is Mark Stenzel, 2nd Grade Teacher

~How many years have you been teaching? 6 years

~Where did you got to school to become a teacher? Lewis Clark State College (Lewiston, ID)

~What is your favorite part of being a teacher? I love working with my students and helping them to grow into successful young adults.

~What do you like to do for fun/as a hobby? I spend my off time golfing, disc golfing, and watching movies.

~What’s the funniest thing a student has ever said to you? “Why did we fight in a civil war? Couldn’t they just do rock, paper, scissors?”

~What do you hope for your students in the future? I hope that they all have the chance to enter the profession they love and that they are happy.

~What is your favorite vacation spot? Maui

~Favorite quote or saying? “Everything always works out.”
