Hello LCIS Panthers,

Parent & Business Potluck for Parent-Teacher Conferences:
Weds. March 26, brought to you by the DAC!
The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is organizing a potluck dinner for one night of conferences, Wednesday, March 26. We warmly invite all LCSD parents/families and community members to contribute what you can. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference and help us celebrate our dedicated teachers. Food drop off will be at each school between 3-4pm. Please no plug-in dishes such as crock pots. Food may come warm and we will keep it warm. If you bring a dish in a container that is not disposable, please plan to pick up this container no later than 7:30pm. We will send more detailed instructions closer to the date for everyone who signs up! Sign up here!
LCIS Panthers continue to crush their ELA and Math skill on IXL.
IXL Spring Break Challenge Winners!
21 students completed at least one hour of math and one hour of ELA over the Spring Break. These students have been invited to a sledding celebration at Dutch Henry Tubing Hill on Tuesday, 3/25, afternoon.
I’m Here For It!
Grade levels will be competing to see which class has the highest percentage of attendance for the month of April. The grade level with the best attendance will earn Free Play Time. Those students from the winning class who are at school every single day in April will also be invited to enjoy an exclusive, sugar free treat. So, set your alarms, show up every day, and win some free time with your friends!
Our attendance numbers are starting to inch back up. We’re always looking for 93% or higher in each grade level. With our state assessment approaching in April, we’d love our students to be in the habit of being at school every day. This will help them prepare for the assessments and build stamina for completing academic work. | Weekly Attendance Numbers 3rd 89.75% 4th 92.23% 5th 91.94% 6th 93.17% |

Pay is $20-$26.50/hour dependent upon experience, average 20 hours per week, no CDL required. If you know anyone who might be interested, please share this job post with them: https://www.lakecountyschools.net/blog/2025/03/18/lcsd-is-seeking-a-driver-for-project-dream-programs-no-cdl-required/
