Friday Afternoon Shout Out 3-27-26
Hello LCIS Families,
Thank you for joining us for Parent teacher conferences this week. It was great to see you celebrate your child’s growth and success, and map out next steps for support. If you were unable to attend conferences and would still like to connect with your child’s teacher, please reach out to them directly or call our main office.
In just two weeks our students will be taking the Colorado Measures of Academic Success assessments. To learn more about the assessments and access student and parent resources, please visit their website here: https://ed.cde.state.co.us/assessment/cmas-parent-student-resources
Beginning the week of April 6th all students will take the ELA tests, one test each day. Students in grades 4-6 will also take the Math tests, one each day. Third graders will take their Math tests during the week of April 13. In addition, students in 4th grade will take one social studies test and students in 5th grade will take three Science tests.
It will be important for your child to be at school every day during our state testing window so that we can ensure that they complete these assessments. Please help your child to get a good night’s sleep and talk with them about doing their best work on these tests. Thank you!
Upcoming:

Is Your Student Struggling with Spring Allergies?
Seasonal allergies affect many students each spring. Spring pollen is a common trigger, causing sneezing, runny noses, and itchy eyes that can make it harder to focus in class.
The School-Based Health Center can help students manage symptoms and feel their best during the school day. Enrollment is open year-round!
To enroll your student or schedule an appointment, call 970-710-5049.
Go Panthers!
