LCES Parent Update 11/5/2021
LCES Families,
We had another great week of learning at LCIS. All K-2 students are in their second EL modules. It is fun seeing the excitement around the work and hearing students talk about the different things they are learning.
Please remember that school starts at 8:00. It is important for our students that they are here on time and ready to learn. Also, please remember that if you do drop your student off late, you need to bring them into the front office in order to sign them in. Thanks so much!
Honoring Our Veterans:
Are you or someone in your family a Veteran? We would like to honor all our Veterans at a special community meeting November 11, 2021 at 8:10. We will have a special guest speaker present about our flag and show students how the flag is folded. Parents are welcome to attend.
Mark Your Calendars:
Our Celebration of Learning is scheduled for December 9th from 6-7 PM. This is a great opportunity to see what your child has been working on in the classroom by engaging in the labs that they are doing.
Health Information:
Attendance is super important and we ask that you please have your student here any day that they can be. We also want to say thank you so much for keeping your student home when they are sick. Please remember that if your student does have a fever of 100.4 or higher, they need to be fever free without medication for 24 hours before they can return to school. We also ask that you please send your child with a mask every day. We appreciate your continued support with this and for helping us follow our COVID-19 procedures.
