LCIS Schoolwide Norms
We take care of ourselves, each other, and our environment.
We commit to quality work and quality interactions
Hello LCIS Families,
These past nine weeks from winter break to spring break have been power packed with learning and we are ready for our vacation!I hope that you have a wonderful and restful spring break. When we return, we will be ready to dive back into the learning and finish the 25-26 school year strong!
Upcoming:
Spring break is this week- March 9-13. We will return to school on Monday, March 16th.
Spring Conferences will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25th and 26th from 12-8pm. Here is the link to sign up for your conference.
Wednesday and Thursday, March 25th and 26th, are half days for students due to Spring Conferences. Dismissal will begin at 11:30 each day. Students will be served lunch before dismissal.
Celebrations:
Dr. Seuss Week.
Thank you to all of the families who have purchased books at the Scholastic Book Fair. Mrs. Osborn and Mrs. Ayers were able to use the proceeds from these book sales to purchase prizes for Dr. Seuss Week which were, of course, even MORE BOOKS! All together, Mrs. Osborn was able to give away 116 books this week. Thank you so much for promoting a lifelong love of reading Mrs. Osborn!
Book Winners
Mrs. Osborn and students celebrating the last day of Dr. Seuss Week by wearing their pajamas for “Sleepy Thursday”.
IXL Homework:
Please continue to encourage your Panther to read every day over the break. Also, IXL will be available so students can still get their 1-hour of ELA and 1-hour of Math. With our state testing just around the corner, we want to keep our students to keep their skills sharp!
