Cloud City High School Family Newsletter
We have seen an uptick in illnesses throughout our community. Please make sure you and your student are taking care of yourselves and getting the rest you need. If your child is too sick to attend school, we must hear directly from a parent or guardian regarding the absence. If your student has reached over ten absences, please schedule a doctor’s visit and provide a note so they can return to school as quickly as possible and fully healthy.
We have just one more week before spring break, and time is moving quickly. Parent-teacher conferences are right around the corner and will include our first graduation check. You should be hearing from your child’s Crew teacher with an update on their progress toward graduation and any next steps needed for success.
Looking ahead, CMAS, PSAT, and SAT testing will take place in April. We will share more specific details and schedules in the coming weeks so families can plan accordingly.
Next week, we are excited that a group of 16 students will be attending the Monte Vista Crane Festival. Students must be eligible to participate, which includes maintaining at least 85% attendance and being up to date on course completion, including current portfolio artifacts in all enrolled classes.
