Updates for families at The Center on online learning
September 11, 2020
Dear Center Families,
Although we are sad not to have our classrooms open and be teaching children, we are taking the necessary precautions to keep our staff, students, families and community safe. We will miss seeing your children but understand this may be our new normal – moving between in-person learning (yellow) and full remote learning (red).
All the Center staff have been working hard to make the quick transition to remote learning. I have checked in with all the teaching teams today and they have some wonderful things planned for next week. There still may be some technical issues. It seems that as soon as we solve one, another one crops up. Please be patient as we work to figure out the problems.
Don’t forget to take advantage of ReadyRosie. It’s a wonderful way to learn about fun and easy activities you can do with your child. It also has a texting app to make it super easy to reach out to your child’s teacher. For parents who haven’t yet accepted the invitations to ReadyRosie, teachers will be reaching out to you to help you get started. Your involvement in this and class meetings are an important requirement of our program. If you have any concerns about meeting these requirements, please contact your child’s teacher for more information.
We are so looking forward to being back in the classroom on September 21st!!
Be well!
