LCIS SNSO 12/20/21
Hello LCIS Families,
What a week! What a year! We had a great week of learning and celebrating. Our students and staff showed their Holiday Flair with a little extra pizazz!
We hope you all have a safe, happy, and healthy Winter Break!
Next semester, when we return from Winter Break on January 4th, we will continue with our YELLOW hybrid model. This means that all in person LCIS students will have classes every day with their core teachers in either the morning or the afternoon, and they will have school work support and Project Dream activities during the other half of the day. Here is what that schedule looks like:
A-Cohort | B-Cohort |
7:45-12:05 Project Dream: School work support & Activities | 7:45-12:05 Core Academics |
12:05-3:30 Core Academics | 12:05-3:30 Project Dream: School work support & Activities |
Frozen Treasure Hunt | December 11th-December 21st | 719.297.1769 | getoutdoorsleadville@gmail.com
We have hidden Frozen Treasures (colorful ice orbs) at Turquoise Lake (trail beginning at the Dam), the Fish Hatchery Nature Trail, the Mineral Belt Trail, & at Ice Palace Park. Go out for as long or as little as you want, and enjoy connecting with the natural world at your own pace (please abide by current Public Health Orders, including group sizes & social distancing)!
Please leave the Frozen Treasures where you found them so that other participants have a chance to find them too!
Participants are encouraged to take pictures during their time outdoors, and post them to social media w/ the following tags: #GetOutdoorsLeadville #GOL! #FrozenTreasureHunt2020. All participants will be entered to a small giveaway at the end of the event!
**All gear borrowed for this event will is due no later than Dec 23rd!**
