LCIS is awarded the Governor’s Bright Spot Award!

LCIS was one of 21 schools across the state to receive the Governor’s Bright Spot Award and $50,000 in education relief funds. LCIS received this recognition for the growth that our students made on the CMAS assessments in the spring of 2022 compared to students’ scores from the spring of 2021. Our students’ scores pushed our rating on the Colorado Department of Education from “Priority Improvement” to “Performance”. This was a tremendous achievement that honored the work that our students and teachers do every day.
