LCIS to celebrate veterans — and we need your help!
On Friday, November 10th, Lake County Intermediate School will be honoring veterans for Veterans Day 2017. This is an invitation to veterans who are family members or friends of our students. Our celebration is a community meeting and starts at 8:15 in the LCIS gym.
In order to make this event a success, we have asked students to fill out a slip of paper with the veteran’s name and service information as well as provide a photo of them, and return it to the office to be made into a poster. A veteran is any type of military personnel who has or is currently serving our country in any branch of the Armed Forces.
This year, the students and staff at Lake County Intermediate School will host a school wide celebration of Veterans Day at our November 10th community meeting. We would like to celebrate and honor the veterans special to the students of our school.
Lake County Intermediate School is very excited about this event as our students and staff wish to acknowledge the devotion and sacrifice our men and women have given to our country.
Sincerely,
Heather DeBoer
