PCA to visit Lake County High School

Lake County Athletics partner, Positive Coaching Alliance will be visiting Lake County High School tonight at 6:30 to take part in the Winter Parent/Athlete Meeting. PCA will be presenting: The Second-Goal Parent® Developing Winners in Life Through Sports. The presenter for the night is Amy Manson. Her bio is below:

Sports: Track and Field 

Walk-on turned Track & Field All-American at Indiana University

Ran professionally for Nike, qualifying for 3 Olympic Trials in the 5k & marathon Former winner of the Detroit Free Press Marathon

Served on the 2014 coaching staff with the US Track & Field Team for the NCAC Championships

Has been coaching youth T&F for 20 years just outside Boulder, CO

Directs a youth T&F program that was chosen as a Top 5 Youth Sports Program in the US’ in 2014 by the National Council of Youth Sports

She and her husband, Pat, pole vault coach and former US #1 ranked pole vaulter, are the parents of 1 HS and 1 collegiate athlete
