LCSD to go “Red” Remote Status beginning Monday, Nov. 16th
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of an LCSD Student:
We have been monitoring the cases of COVID, staff and student absences, and the implications that quarantines and absences bring to our schools. We wanted to let you know that we will transition all of our schools into a “Red” remote status for the next six days of school beginning Monday, November 16 through Tuesday November 24 .
We anticipate returning to our hybrid in-person learning on Monday November 30th. The shift to a remote instructional model is a result of staffing shortages that would limit our ability to safely and effectively host school and deliver services to students.
Please watch for more detailed communication from your student’s home school.
Meals will be delivered to families during this time and will be communicated to families in a separate communication.
Thank you for your understanding.
