Governor Polis to visit Lake County Elementary today!
Dear Families of Lake County Elementary School,
We want to invite you to a special meet and greet opportunity with Governor Polis this Tuesday afternoon (August 16) and to take a moment to say thank you for the uplifting start to school we had yesterday!
On the first day of school, there was so much joy and excitement throughout our building as our hallways filled with smiles, giggles, new adventures, and new friends. I hope your child came home excited to share some of the highlights of the day with you. Thank you for sharing your little ones with us.
As we look forward to the second day of school we get to share with you that Governor Polis will be stopping by LCES this Tuesday afternoon. He will have the opportunity to experience the smiles, giggles, and joys of our school first-hand. Governor Polis will be arriving later in the afternoon and will have the opportunity to pop into some classrooms. He will be out in front of our school around 3:05 at the parent pickup line to say hello to parents and students. He would love for you to stop by and say hello.
We invite you all to attend this special meet and greet opportunity. If your child is typically a bus rider or walker and you wish instead to pick your child up from school tomorrow, you can let the front office know (719-486-6890) and they will make the change to your child’s schedule.
