Lake County Xcel Power Outage Update for LCSD

Update from LCSD at 9:10 am

We received, as many of you have, an updated communication from Xcel Energy giving an new estimated time of power being back on by 11:30 am.

Our plans are as follows:

• Schools will open for the day as planned with a two hour delay and staff will be on site and ready for the day.
• Buses are out now and will be picking up students as planned.
• Schools will be providing a sack lunch today.

Parents/Guardians always have the discretion to send their student or keep them home depending upon their comfort level and an absence would be excused for the day.
