HS is “Red” Status for Wednesday, Sept. 23rd

Dear LCHS families and students,

We apologize for the late text/email.

We received notice this evening of a positive case of COVID at the high school and another suspected case at the high school.

In response to this information, we are asking that all students go to “Red” status for Wednesday, Sept. 23rd. At this time, all students will operate as they do on their “at home” days. Students should report to their crew Google meeting at 8:00 am and then work asynchronously the rest of the day.  Students will NOT have real time classes tomorrow, but may transition to this in the upcoming days.

Students should look for an email in the morning from Ms. Dillon with further instructions.

For students needing meals tomorrow, please reach out to Julie Mehle
jmehle@lakecountyschools.net

719-293-1040 (cell) 719-486-6960 (work).

We will be communicating more information on Wednesday.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make the difficult decision to move to “Red” status for school at LCHS tomorrow and consider next steps.
