LCHS Summer Credit Recovery Information

At Lake County High School we take seriously our responsibility to effectively educate students and prepare them for success beyond high school.  We want to ensure that students are equipped and ready to do the learning that is required of them at each grade level.

You are receiving this communication because your student failed their Math, English, Science or History course or courses this year. This makes your student eligible for credit recovery with Project Dream over the summer. If your student passes his or her credit recovery class(es) over the summer, they WILL NOT be required to retake the course next year, which could keep them on track to graduate on time. This is an opportunity that we hope your student will take advantage of.

The details for summer credit recovery programming are as follows:

What: Students will take the online Math, English, Science or History CDLS course with the support of our highly qualified Project Dream and CLC staff members.

When: Thursdays from July 7-August 11, 12:00-3:00

Where: Lake County High School Library

In order for your child to successfully recover their credit, they will need to be in attendance every Thursday. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transportation this year but your student may join virtually each Thursday using this Google Meet link: https://meet.google.com/aic-degn-ict. If internet is a barrier for your student, please reach out to Taylor Trelka for a hot spot.

It is possible for your student to recover their credits this summer if they show up each week and work hard!

Let’s work together to help your student recover credit and graduate high school on time!
