Dear LCHS Families,
It was great to see so many families at conferences the past two days. We are proud of our students and what they are accomplishing. We appreciate the time you took to connect with teachers and engage in those conversations.
As a follow-up, we know that not all students were able to complete their course selections during conferences. We will be offering make-up opportunities for current 9th-11th grade students in the coming weeks. Our counseling team will connect directly with students to ensure everyone has a chance to complete this process.
Additionally, our rising 8th and 9th grade students will complete their course selections in early May. More information will be shared with those families as we get closer.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for your continued partnership,
Scott Carroll
Principal

Sports Report
Sports Report: HS girls’ soccer picked up a 3-0 win over Jefferson in their first game of the season and then lost a close game 2-1 at Arrupe Jesuit last week.
The first home girls’ soccer game of the season is Saturday, March 28 at 1 pm against Salida. Come out to the Community Park Field and support your Lady Panthers!
Middle school spring sports are rolling, but it’s not too late to join the fun! Co-ed track and field practices at the intermediate school gym, and girls’ soccer practices at the Community Park Field. Both practices are Monday-Thursday from 4-5:30 pm.
Let’s GO PANTHERS!!

To ensure less disruptions to the school day and better testing attendance, we are holding regular school during testing days. When students are not testing, they will be attending their classes.
All tests are on the computer this year. Please remind your student to bring their chromebook and charger each day.
We will do a digital readiness check with students on Monday, March 30th during CREW. 11th grade students will have an opportunity to complete additional information with College Board regarding scholarship information and sending their results to colleges. 11th grade students will need the attached form to be signed and returned by Thursday to complete the optional portion.
We appreciate your help in ensuring students are at school and well-rested on assessment days.
If you have any questions, please contact the front office to set up a meeting with Kerry Charles, the testing coordinator for the high school.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with your student!
