After School Information: Site-Based
Please remember, pick-up time will be no later than 6:00pm. When picking up your child in the evening, you will need to come to the main entrance of the school and sign your student out. Please be sure your child is prepared to go outside each day with proper footwear, jacket, gloves, etc. Your child will attend after school programs on the days indicated above and will rotate through a variety of fun clubs. Project Dream made decisions about how many days are available to your student based on the capacity of the program. If we are unable to contact a parent or emergency contact within 30 minutes, the Department of Human Services will be called.
Friday Information
For all students K-6, Friday programming will take place at LCIS (1000 W 6th St.) Friday drop-off is at 9:00am in front of LCIS. Pick-up is no later than 3:00pm. When picking up your child in the evening, you will need to come to the main entrance of LCIS and sign your student out. Please note we will not have Friday programming when school is in session or the day before Winter Break (December 16th). The following dates will be full-day Fridays (no half-day option) due to teacher professional development: September 16, October 14, November 18, February 3, April 7, May 19. On September 16, we will be spending a full day outside so please send your student with warm clothes. On the remaining five full days, we plan to go to the Silverthorne Aquatic Center so please be sure to send your student with swim gear.
Late Pickup – New this year, a fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for each minute after Project Dream closes at 6:00pm Monday-Thursday and 3:00pm on Fridays. for each student still in our care. If we are unable to contact a parent or emergency contact within 30 minutes, the Department of Human Services will be called.
Transportation
There will be no transportation for the start of Project Dream. We are still awaiting the arrival of the Activity Bus we ordered in June. When the bus arrives, spots will be filled depending on family needs. Please note, there are only 14 spots available on the bus.
Keep in mind that if your student did not get in all the days they wanted for after school site-based Project Dream, there is always an opportunity to take advantage of the Mobile Learning Center (El Camioncito)! Students can visit El Camioncito on a drop-in basis. Check out the schedule below.
Mobile Learning Center (El Camioncito) Schedule – El Camioncito is currently having some mechanical issues and will not be running with other Project Dream programs the week of September 6th. We hope to have it up and running as soon as possible. Be on the lookout for when it is in your neighborhood!
