3rd Graders ski with 10th Mountain Division
Lake County Intermediate School 3rd Graders journeyed to Ski Cooper last Friday to honor the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division while joining them in their annual “Serpentine Ski Down” ceremony. This was an amazing way for us to close out our Learning Expedition about WWII and 10th Mountain Division history. What a fun celebration of learning – full of ski lessons, pizza wedges, and smiles on the slopes!
Huge thanks to the 10th Mountain Division, many community chaperones, Lake County School District teachers and staff, and others who made this possible.
