LCHS welcomes Brian Nelson as new principal

Thank you to all of the parents, students, staff and community members who participated in our principal interview process on Saturday, February 12th. 

At this time we are pleased to announce that Brian Nelson has officially accepted the position as the next principal of Lake County High School. Mr. Nelson currently serves as the assistant principal of Harmony School of Innovation in Garland, Texas as well as serving as a college counselor at the Harmony School of Business.

Mr. Nelson and his wife, Teresa, will join our community in the coming month and Mr. Nelson will officially begin his role as Principal of Lake County High School on April 1st. For the first couple of weeks in this new role, Mr. Nelson will transition into the role of principal with the support of our talented interim team. Ms. Dillon, Ms. Berman and Mr. Carroll will continue the remainder of this school year in interim assistant principal roles.

We are excited to have Mr. Nelson join our team and are looking forward to working with him soon!
