Annual Calendar:

The Center follows the Lake County School District’s school year calendar for breaks and holidays with just a few exceptions around conference and home visit schedules.  Families are given a handbook with a yearly calendar at their orientation.  Updates and reminders are provided via the website, texts, and notes sent home as needed.

Daily schedule:

Preschool time at The Center is generally Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

We are open before and after those times for childcare, from 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Arrangements for extended day care must be made in advance, as space in these rooms is limited.  Please let us know your needs as early as you know them, and we will do everything possible to create a schedule that meets your family’s needs.

Tuition rates:

We are committed to offering affordable childcare to Lake County families and use a variety of grant funding to keep costs as low as possible.  We offer services through Head Start, the Universal Preschool Program (UPP), tuition based preschool, and services to children with special needs. All preschool classrooms are inclusive and serve children of all programs, ages, home languages, and abilities.

The information you provide on your application is used to determine your child’s eligibility for the different programs.  More information on the different programs and eligibility criteria for each program is available on request.

The exact monthly tuition rate for your child will depend on their eligibility for grant funded programs and your schedule.  A tuition agreement will be provided to you at orientation detailing your schedule and listing the exact amount you will owe each month.  The agreement also lists the following late fees:

  • $10 late fee for tuition bills not paid by the 6th of the month
  • $1 per minute late fee if your child is not picked up by the end of their scheduled hours

Monthly Fees:

The tuition schedule describing tuition for different schedules and funding programs can be found here.

Full Pay Tuition:

Extended Day:           7:30am to 5:00pm           approximately $1,368.00

Full Day:                      9:00am to 3:00pm          approximately $864.00

Some UPK awards are for 10 or 30 hours per week. Tuition is charged for children within their awarded number of hours on the UPK schedule. Hours in addition to the UPK awarded hours will be charged accordingly. An official tuition agreement will be provided to you at your orientation.

Additional assistance:

  • The Center accepts funds from the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP).  We will be happy to provide you with information on how to apply for these funds through the Lake County Department of Human Services.
  • Our staff is happy to work with families on payment plans or other arrangements on an individual basis.  We are all members of working families ourselves and know that we all face hard times.  We would much prefer to make every effort to maintain your child’s enrollment at The Center rather than unenroll your child for non-payment.  Please come see us and let us find solutions with you.

Calendario Anual:
