Dear LCHS Families,
There is a lot to be proud of at Lake County High School right now.
Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate that Lake County High School earned a Green Performance rating on the Colorado School Performance Framework. This is an important milestone for our school and reflects the hard work of our students, staff, and families.
Progress like this does not happen because of one program, one person, or one year of work. It comes from showing up every day, building stronger systems, supporting students, improving instruction, and continuing to raise expectations for what is possible at LCHS.
We also know there is more work ahead. There are areas where we need to continue growing, particularly as we push toward stronger academic achievement and growth for every student. A Green rating is something worth celebrating, but it is not a finish line. It is evidence that the work is moving us in the right direction.
I am incredibly proud of our students and staff and grateful for the partnership of our families. I am proud to lead LCHS, and I am excited about what we can continue to build together.

Sports Report
We have a new sports website called Bound! https://www.gobound.com/co/schools/lakecountyhs
This is the place to find schedules, ticketing and news about your teams. On the homepage, select the team you are looking for from the list on the left. Hint: you might have to scroll down to find what you’re looking for. When you click on a program, you will automatically be taken to the varsity level of that program. Click on the word Varsity at the top of the page and select the level you are looking for from the dropdown menu. Then click on Schedule to see and print the season’s schedule. You can also click the green Notifications button to select what notifications you would like to receive for your team. Click on the Panther head anytime to go back to the LCHS home page. Along the top of the home page, you can select Calendar to get a weekly or monthly view of everything going on at LCHS. There is a filter icon which allows you to select only the activities you are interested in on the calendar. Also at the top of the home page is a link for “Tickets.” Here you can purchase advance tickets for our home games. You will also be able to pay with credit card as you enter events.
Bound also has an app. You can find some informational videos on how to work it here.

Panorama Survey
Next week 9/14 and 9/15 we will be distributing the panorama survey. If you do not want your student to complete the survey please return the document below to the front office by the end of the day tomorrow

Lake County Public Library cards
This year during registration, the Lake County Public Library asked you for permission to create an account for our LCSD students. The district and library have been working on getting those ready and we hope the cards will be delivered in the coming week.
For those families who either didn’t answer the question or said no, there will be another chance for you to opt into your student receiving a library card. We will send home a hard copy of the letter and form to complete this. If you choose to fill it out, please return to the front office and we will deliver it to the library. There is also a link that you can opt in at if you would prefer. That link is: https://kkjlcxci.formester.com/f/6BWnz8UKD and the form is available in English and Spanish.
