Premium Conversion Plan (PCP) allows an employer to withhold health plan premiums on a pre-tax basis from their employees’ payroll checks. PCP plans are also sometimes referred to as Premium Only Plans, Cafeteria Plans or Section 125 Plans (because they are governed by the Internal Revenue Code Section 125). This document outlines our plan’s requirements in accordance with various laws, rules, and regulations and enable LCSD to implement a pre-tax benefit.
