LCHS graduating seniors receive $437,000 in scholarships
Today Lake County celebrated its graduating seniors at Class Day. The class received an impressive $437,000 in scholarships to continue their education! From four-year scholarships such as the Daniels Scholarship (Gavin Laing), Regis University Achievement Scholarship (Tania Garcia), Aurora University Presidential Scholarship (Cesar Hernandez), and Loyola University President’s Scholarship (Christian Torsell), to scholarships provided by local community agencies and foundations, seniors received a tremendous amount of support. The Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation once again provided a scholarship to every graduating senior in the class. The Elks, Masons, Eastern Star, PEO, CMC, Climax Molybdenum, Ski Cooper, Boom Days, Women of Hope, Corinthian Lodge, Keough Family Foundation, Alpine Orchestra and other local groups and endowed scholarship programs all made presentations of awards. The school district is incredibly grateful for the incredible level of support provided to our students!
