It has been a busy week here at CCHS! Academic classes are moving quickly, and students who have been attending class regularly and completing their work should finish the first portfolio artifact for each class by Thursday, September 3. We look forward to seeing how this adjusted pace supports student success.
This week, our Work-Based Learning career trip took us to Colorado Firecamp. What an amazing opportunity for our students to learn from experts about wildland fire, fire protection, land mitigation, and related career pathways! We all left with a better understanding of this field and the steps students would need to take if they are interested in pursuing it as a career. We sincerely thank the Colorado Firecamp staff for hosting us and providing a wonderful lunch for everyone.
Next week will be a regular four-day week of academic classes. Classes begin promptly at 8:10 a.m. for all students.
