LCHS Summer Band Camp is back! August 1-5

Lake County High School summer band camp will kick off on Monday August 1^st and run until Friday August 5^th.  Camp will run from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day at the high school and community field. The purpose of this camp is to prepare for the Boom Days Parade on Saturday August 6^th @ 10 a.m.

What students need to bring

1. Instrument with lyre and flip folder – If you don’t have a lyre or flip folder you can order one on amazon for a minimal cost or the school will have one. If you need a school instrument for camp, please arrive early on the first day. Instruments will be first come first serve.
2. Comfortable shoes – no flip flops – we will be marching.
3. A sack lunch or money for lunch – we will have one-hour lunch breaks each day, pizza will be provided the last day of camp
4. Sunscreen/hat/ sunglasses – we will be outside and you will need to protect yourself from sunburn.
5. A positive attitude

On Friday August 5^th at 1 p.m. the band will perform for parents and community members at the community field.  Please come and join us.
